Selling on eBay

Hey everyone!

I am still trying to save and make money at every possible chance! As well as de-cluttering, eBay is a fantastic way to make a little pocket money!

I have had a rummage through my wardrobe and have taken out anything that I haven't worn in the last 6 months.

I always see new clothes that I lust after, but can't justify buying, as my wardrobe is jam packed as it is! So, I have decided to sell any unused items on eBay. This gives me more room for new clothes, and a little bit of spare money to buy new things! Win win situation guys!!

I haven't listed high prices as I am realistic and want to make room for new things.

My eBay name is batman3077.

eBay is just too good!

Etsy Shop!!

Hello everyone!

As I promised, I am keeping up with my 'more regular' posting!

Todays post is going to be about Etsy.

My mum made me aware of the site a few months ago, but it is only the last week that I have actually gone to the website to have a nosey and see what all the fuss is about!

As I have been making my own jewellery for quite some months now, and many other things too, I decided to open up my own shop on the Etsy website. I have spent half the day filling out the required fields, and have started listed some of my items! This is all very exciting, and I can't wait to make my first sale. It will be lovely to know people like the stuff I make enough to actually part with their money and buy it!

I am still getting to grips with the website, but feel it won't take me too much longer to get the swing of things.

If any of you have an Etsy shop, please leave me a comment! I'd love to get extra tips and advice on what to do!

And if you have a spare few minutes, check out what I've done to my shop so far....

30 Day Shred!

Hello Bloggers! I hope you are all well.

Sticking with a similar theme to my last post, I am going to again talk about exercising!

On youtube and instagram, I follow a woman called Kate (katethisiswhatido). She posted a picture on Instagram about the '30 day shred' (by Jillian Michael) work out, and I was intruged to find out what this was. Reading down on the comments I saw that you could watch the workout on Youtube!

I have been giving the 30 Day Shred a good trial via the Youtube video, and couldn't resist purchasing the hard copy on DVD! I was finding the workout do-able, but was feeling the benefits from it too. As silly as it may sound, I like to feel a little bit achy, so I know the exercising has actually done something! Ha.

I am on day 5, and am so far very impressed. The workout is designed to combine strength, cardio and abs workouts, all in one 20 minute session. There are 3 stages to the work out. Each stage should be followed for 10 days each in order. If you complete the workout effectively, and keep pushing yourself the whole way through, it claims to shred pounds, and give you more muscle tone. From the picture above, it boasts that you could 'lose up to 20 in 30 days!'.

Each 20 minute workout contains :
*One 2 minute warm up
*Three 6 minute circuits featuring Jillian's 3-2-1 system:
*3 minutes of strength
*2 minutes of cardio
*1 minute of abs
*one minute cool down

As I am only on day 5, I am yet to see any visual effects, but I know something is working due to the fact my muscles ache!

It has only occured to me today, that perhaps I should measure myself, so that by the time 30 days it up, I can see physically how much my body has changed.

My measurements on day 5 (before working out):

Thigh at largest point - 20 1/2 inches
Calf at largest point - 14 inches
Waist at largest point - 28 inches
Hips at largest point - 32 inches
Chest at largest point (below bust) 31 inches

I am not doing this workout to lose weight, but to be more toned, and feel fitter in myself.
I shall keep you updated, and if you decide to do the 30 day shred, let me know how you get on!! Good luck.

Exercising because I'm poor!

Hello!!

Well its been far too long since I have last posted on here! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and are having a good start to the new year!

I don't really have an excuse, and I am definitely going to make more time to post on here more regularly from now on.

As I am trying my hardest not to spend any money at all this month (except on bills!) because my car insurance is due for renewal at the beginning of Feb, I am trying to find other ways to keep myself occupied.

Walking my dog is not only free, but it is also very good for the both of us! Today I visited the local Country Park with my friend, instead of the usual shopping trip we would normally have. Walking is great exercise, and I always find myself feeling refreshed and motivated after. I believe it is good for the mind as well as the body. Joining the gym is something that I have wanted to do for a while, but as we all know, its not cheap. For now I am perfectly happy spending my free time with my number 1!

Mans best friend! I love my dog!
